Welcome to Harvest Caye, Belize aboard Norwegian Viva! In this vlog, I’m taking you through my full Day 4 on Norwegian Viva, starting with breakfast at Surfside Café as we pull into Harvest Caye, then heading off the ship to explore Norwegian Cruise Line’s private destination in Belize. This ended up being one of the most relaxing port days of the cruise. After breakfast, I got off the ship and spent time exploring Harvest Caye, checking out the layout, pool area, cabanas, beach seating, bars, and marina before heading out on the Black Swan electric boat tour. The Black Swan electric boat tour was honestly one of the calmest excursions I’ve done. It’s a quiet, eco-friendly boat ride through the mangrove area with views of the marina, the ship, and the island, and it also comes with a complimentary rum punch or fruit punch. Even though we didn’t spot any wildlife, it was still super peaceful and worth doing, especially with the $50 Norwegian shore excursion credit. Later in the day, I kept exploring Harvest Caye, checked out more of the port, grabbed lunch, and then headed back onboard. The day wrapped with one of the best meals of the cruise at Palomar, where the sea bass and apple tart completely won me over.
