I experienced a nice balance of casual elegance and sophistication with a side of relaxation and revelry. The first thing that caught my eye as I arrived was the view I had from the open air lobby out onto the main pool and the beautiful ocean. There are eight (8) dining venues and seven (7) bars and lounges. I tried to visit them all and if you're looking for something specific please check the chapter guide below. Maria Petrona was my favourite a la carte restaurant. This venue offers authentic Mexican gourmet cuisine in an amazing setting while being surrounded by an indoor fountain and beautiful Mexican paintings and murals. I also loved that they had two (2) dining venues right by the ocean with Pelicanos and Rincon Mexicano. If you're looking for an upscale Mexican Resort for your destination wedding, you've found it at Hilton Playa Del Carmen. There is a one (1) wedding per day limit at the Hilton Playa Del Carmen so you'll never have to worry about sharing your special day with another couple and they have two (2) stunning ceremony venues.
