Think about what kind of atmosphere you enjoy and feel comfortable in. AND WHAT IS YOUR VACATION STYLE? If you're from a diverse city with different varieties of things to do and see OR from the southern united states, I believe Royal Caribbean and Carnival are good choices, with plenty of activities and venues to meet your vacation style for your first solo cruise. If you're from the west coast, upper east coast, or mid America, a foodie, or you have cruised before Norwegian, Celebrity, Princess and MSC are good choices for you, premium food, beautiful ships, fun and educational activities and excellent spas. All of these cruise lines and many more cruise lines that I did not mention have all the amenities mentioned so you can do it all on any ship but because choosing can be difficult I have put my own twist on picking a cruise line for your solo cruise.
