Pamela weakened on Tuesday on its path toward Mexico's western coast, then strengthened back into a hurricane again before approaching the state of Sinaloa, just up the coast from Mazatlan. The center of Pamela made landfall, near Estacion Dimas in west-central Mexico, just north of the port city of Mazatlan at hurricane force, bringing high winds and rain to the city. Pamela is now moving inland over western Mexico. Rapid weakening is occurring as the center moves further inland.
