Creator's Key Takeaways

I'm currently on a cruise and staying in an inside cabin with a quirky feature the cabin is located right in the middle of deck 11 without any access to Daylight or the outside world

the cabin felt huge it felt absolutely massive it was probably the same size as the balcony cabin that I just come from

I would book this quirky cabin again

I'm now officially a co-founder of the cruise Maps

Creator's Tips & Advice

βœ“Consider paying extra to pick a specific cabin location if you see a quirky one
βœ“Bring an adapter for charging multiple devices due to limited plug sockets

πŸ†•New to Cruising? This Creator Addresses:

lack of natural light in inside cabins β€” Use a daylight alarm clock to simulate sunrise and help with total darkness
feeling movement in the cabin β€” Choose a cabin location that is calm and still, as the creator did not notice any motion

I thought I knew what to expect when I booked the cheapest inside cabin, I wasn't prepared for this room though, it was unlike any inside cabin I've ever seen before. They are here!! This cabin faced INSIDE the ship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSNLLGZgtpw&t=173s This cabin had a blocked view: https://youtu.be/0roPbHRIChE?si=Gnc4puFAlr0SyjQL This cabin was on a superyacht: https://youtu.be/A494Srv_ib0?si=fJNP1xwxLyk9OeT2 The cabin is located right in the middle of deck 11 without any access to daylight or the outside world and I’ve spent most of this week trying to work out if it was worth the money or if I should have paid more for an upgrade. Usually when you look at inside cabins they are almost always identical, regardless of the ship or the location, an inside cabin is pretty much two beds, a desk and a bathroom in the corner. Some might be 30cm wider or have an extra chair but really that is about it. The cabins are made pre formed like this in the factory so there really isn’t much that can vary between cabins, or so I thought. My current cabin doesn’t follow that norm at all. The cruise line I’m currently sailing on is P&O and I’m onboard a ship called Aurora, she was built in the year 2000 and not much has changed since then. I did wonder if the ship being as old as she is might cause us any issues but I decided to book a very short weekend cruise onboard with my friends. I figured a short cruise would be a great way to try it without risking too much time or money. I really didn’t pay a lot for this cruise though, but more about that later. β–Ά FREE COURSE.
