ICELAND Vlog - Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, Black Sand Beach, Reykjavik Museums | October 2021

► Join me and my friend, as we travel to Iceland for a WEEK and see as many of the beautiful sights as possible! I fly from London to Reykjavik Airport with IcelandAir and meet my friend there. We then check into our hotel, the Alda Hotel and explore the city a bit. The evening is dedicated to a Northern Lights tour, and whilst we see some lights, it's sadly not the full effects. The next morning, we visit a few art museums, including the Reykjavik Art Museum and wander through the streets of Reykjavik. Our second day is spent visiting more museum and galleries (National Gallery of Iceland and National Museum of Iceland), as well as a lovely lunch at one of Iceland's best traditional restaurants. The next day is the Golden Circle tour, where we visit the Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Water Fall, Geysir, Kerid Crater and have lunch in a local Tomato Farm cafe. The following day, we visit the Blue Lagoon, and spend the day relaxing in this beautiful geothermal spa, and enjoy a late lunch at the Lava Restaurant in the Blue Lagoon. Our penultimate full day includes a lot of shopping for Icelandic souvenirs, but we also do a walking tour of Reykjavik with an awesome tour guide in the afternoon. We get up very early on our final day, to go on a South Iceland tour, where we visit two more beautiful waterfalls (Skógafoss & Seljalandsfoss), as well as a Glacier and the famous black sand beach! We enjoy a last dinner at our Alda hotel restaurant and pack for the flight home tomorrow. Our last day is a half day, where we basically just travel to Reykjavik Airport, part ways as my friend has a flight back to Scotland and me to London, and then I board the IcelandAir flight to London in the afternoon and see some beautiful scenes from my aeroplane window.
