Icon of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's newest ship. It's the largest cruise ship in the world and is very innovative throughout. In the Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom, you will find a private bath with a single sink, shelf storage, a storage drawer and a nice shower with a glass door. The bathroom isn't large, however, the innovative swivel on the glass shower door is our favorite feature of this cruise cabin bath. In the main areas of the aft-facing balcony stateroom, guests will enjoy use of a full size couch across from a built-in desk/dresser area that also provides a mini-frig below the desktop. There is a full length mirror as well as another mirror over the desk that is lit around the edges of the mirror. Check out the storage behind the full-length mirror! That's where you'll find the stateroom safe, which is fairly small. There are an additional five shelves of storage behind that mirror. The desk/dresser has a desk drawer plus 4 drawers for storage. There are also four wire baskets for even more storage - guests will find those under the closet for long and shorter hanging of your clothes. The bed and flat screen television are close to the balcony door in this particular stateroom. The bed is two twin beds that can be kept separate or put together to give a Royal King bed. The best part of this stateroom may be the large, covered balcony outside! This is a true step-out balcony, with high-back chairs, foot rests and a round table. This is a great balcony - with infinite view out the back of the ship . . .You'll want to check this out!
