About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
We recently took a Mexican Riviera cruise on the new and beautiful Discovery Princess out of San Pedro, CA and one of the ports of call was Puerto Vallarta. One of our travel planners, Jeff, a.k.a. Julle, found the Jorullo Bridge adventure at Canopy River and we knew that we had to tackle this challenge. The Jorullo Bridge is the longest vehicular suspension bridge in the world with 1,542 feet of length and 492 feet of height. The construction took 1 year and was built side by side with local workers and supervised by the most qualified engineers of the region for big structures. I have to be honest the last sentence didn't give us the most confidence in our safety, but no one perished so far so we decided to give it a GO! I've condensed the two hour tour down to 17 mintues, but the video has the highlights of the RZR tour and captures crossing both of the bridges. We went during the dry season so instead of mud we had dust, but I highly recommend this excursion and we are very glad to have added this to our list of adventures.
