Kiss of my life! Kissing the legendary Blarney Stone in Cork, Ireland (not for vertigo sufferers!)

I was recently in Ireland on a Cunard cruise which stopped in the port of Cobh from where I did a ship excursion which visited Blarney Castle which is legendary for being home to the famous Blarney Stone which, if you kiss it, is meant to bestow you with the gift of the gab (i.e. eloquence). So of course I puckered up and got my lips out. Mick Jagger has done it, so why wouldn’t I?! The castle also has amazing gardens and grounds to explore. You could happily spend a whole day here, but make sure you kiss the Blarney Stone first before the queue builds up!
