Kotor, Montenegro was my favorite stop on the Regent Seven Seas cruise from Venice to Athens. The video is an overview of Kotor, including an excursion up the switchback to the top of the mountain, a visit to the city of Cetinje, a drive through Budva, the walled city, or Old Town Kotor, and a hike up toward St John's Fortress. I would not advise the hike up to the Fortress because of the quality of the path. The city of Centinje was lovely. There are several museums, so you could spend a day there. For solo travelers, it is easy to explore the Old Town on your own. The excursions up the mountain and to Centinje and Budva would require reserving a motorcoach tour. @seniorsolotravel
