In order to avoid any flight issues and delays, I decided to stay at Le Meridian Dania Beach Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for one night before boarding my cruise ship: the Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the seas. The hotel was lovely, had nice landscaping, large kid friendly pool, bar, coffee shop and a restaurant in the lobby. It's near the cruise port and about 10 mins away from the airport. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to the cruise port that you can reserve in advance. The port is about 15 mins away. For dinner, we went to Billy's stone crab restaurant in Hollywood, Florida. It was a 10 out of 10. It was 20 mins away form the hotel. I highly recommend Le Meridien hotel if your staying in Fort Lauderdale. #travelblogger #vacation #cruiselife #royalcaribbean #fortlauderdale
