Creator's Key Takeaways

Halifax was beautiful.

It was really nice. Um took us around. It's very slow sedate boat. Very sweet.

We had an apple pie, apple and caramel beaver tail, which was very, very nice.

We went on a duck tour which I'll do a real and a short about cuz it was so much fun.

Part 1 β€” Halifax, Nova Scotia (Live until we lost signal!) I’m currently sailing on Azamara Quest exploring Canada & New England. Today we’re in Halifax, Nova Scotia β€” a city steeped in nautical history. Samuel Cunard, founder of the famous Cunard Line, was born here. Halifax is also where many Titanic victims were brought to rest, as it was the nearest ice-free port to the site of the sinking. The city’s past includes the huge Halifax Explosion of 1917, one of the largest man-made explosions before the atomic age. There are so many ways to explore Halifax by water β€” from schooner sails to ferries, electric boats like the one we took, and even amphibious vehicles (which I also took..) that are brilliant for kids (and big kids alike!). The waterfront is beautiful with hammocks, parks and deck chairs β€” perfect for relaxing. And if you’re hungry, don’t miss trying a Canadian BeaverTail β€” a warm fried pastry with sweet toppings! I lost signal during the live… so hop over to Part 2 to catch more about visiting Halifax by cruise! #azamaraquest #azamaracruises #halifax #canadaandnewenglandcruise #nocruisecontrol #cruiselife #halifaxharbour #cruisetips #cruiseyoutube #halifaxwaterfront
