YouTube Video Description↓

Part 2 of 2 β€” Halifax, Nova Scotia I’m currently sailing on Azamara Quest exploring Canada & New England. We visited Halifax, Nova Scotia β€” a city steeped in nautical history. Samuel Cunard, founder of the famous Cunard Line, was born here. Halifax is also where many Titanic victims were brought to rest, as it was the nearest ice-free port to the site of the sinking. The city’s past includes the huge Halifax Explosion of 1917, one of the largest man-made explosions before the atomic age. There are so many ways to explore Halifax by water β€” from schooner sails to ferries, electric boats like the one we took, and even amphibious vehicles (which I also took..) that are brilliant for kids (and big kids alike!). The waterfront is beautiful with hammocks, parks and deck chairs β€” perfect for relaxing. And if you’re hungry, don’t miss trying a Canadian BeaverTail β€” a warm fried pastry with sweet toppings! I lost signal during my first Halifax live… so this is Part 2! #azamaraquest #azamaracruises #halifax #canadaandnewenglandcruise #nocruisecontrol #cruiselife #halifaxharbour #cruisetips #cruiseyoutube #halifaxwaterfront
