Day 4 of our Marella Far East Cruise on Discovery 2 took to the idyllic island of Langkawi in Malaysia. This island has a fascinating history and is rich in natural wonders and spectacular wildlife. Our day here was spent on a TUI Excursion where we explored the Mangrove Swamp areas of Kilim Geopark by Speedboat on the Caves and Mangroves by Boat Excursion. This was a thrilling adventure speeding around the inland waterways on a speedboat taking in the crocodile cave, the eagle feeding area, the Kilim Geopark rock sign and the wonderful Bat Cave where 3 species of bats cling onto the cave roof during the daytime. A natural spectacle not to be missed. Then back to the ship for fun and entertainment including a show (Six Strings), a fun quiz and another silent disco. Another fantastic day.
