Med Cruise on the Sun Princess P7 - Leaning tower of Pisa & Beautiful Florence Italy.

Today we visit Pisa and Florence which we booked our excursion through Shoreexcursionsgroup.com and It was great. There were only 5 of us in a mini-van and our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Our first stop was Pisa and despite it being crowded this early in the morning, it was really awesome. I would have loved to go into the leaning tower and explore the buildings but unfortunately this was already going to be a long day and our free time wasn't going to be long enough. We did our cheesy tourist photos, purchased our ornaments and moved onto to Florence. A big advantage in booking with SEG is that they often offer small groups which allows you a more personable experience. Since we were in a mini-van, our tour guide had permits to actually drive in the streets of Florence. We explore the sites and tasted some "awesome" ALL meat calzones. They were one of the best!!! Once again we didn't have enough time to actually go into any of the structures but we were able to see all of the statues and marvel over the architecture where everywhere is a photo op. The biggest thing to remember in my opinion re cruises and excursions is this, it's just a taster of what the port, city and country has to offer. It enables you the ability to see if this is somewhere you want to come back to on your own or it's somewhere you would rather not waste your money at.
