Mexico is one of the Most Popular Countries in the Caribbean but right now is immersed in a series of Violent events that are affecting Tourists from all around the World. After a Notorious Cartel Lord was captured and executed by Mexican Authorities, the retaliation have been very loud, affecting the countries economy and targeting one of the Country's biggest assets, the Tourism. Thousands of Tourist stranded in places like Jalisco state, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, Playa del Carmen, Cancun, all Riviera Maya and more, creating a huge Chaos all around the country. We have been in Mexico several times, it's one of our favorite Destinations to visit, we have Cruised with different Cruise Lines, stopping in Cozumel Mexico, Costa Maya, Mahagual, Chacchoben Ruins, 7 Colors Lagoon, etc. Is Mexico Safe for Tourist? in our Experience, the Hospitality in the Country has always been amazing and we have nothing to say but great things about our stays, but with recent events, Cruisers and Travelers in general should be very cautious and stay safe, until the country's situation stabilize.
