Mid-Hants Railway 'SPRING STEAM GALA' - 2015

The Mid-Hants Railway's 'SPRING STEAM GALA' was moved to February for 2015 with the dates being Friday 13th to Sunday 15th. The locomotive line-up was as follows... - LNER A4-class 4-6-2 No.4464 "Bittern" (spending the 2015 season at the MHR). - BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70000 "Britannia" (returning to service following lengthy repairs). - LMSR 'Black 5'-class 4-6-0 No.45379. - SR 'West Country'-class 4-6-2 No.34007 "Wadebridge" (returning to service following repairs). - SR V-class 'Schools' 4-4-0 No.925 "Cheltenham". - SR LN-class 'Lord Nelson' 4-6-0 No.E850 "Lord Nelson". Unfortunately, "Lord Nelson" failed briefly on Saturday and then again on Sunday morning resulting in it missing out the final day. The roster was adjusted with the remaining four passenger-working locos staying on the same sets all day whilst "Wadebridge" worked all Demonstration Freight Trains which this time were shuttling between Alresford & Ropley.
