Mixed Vaccine NEWS! What's Changed for Cruising? Can You Mix Vaccines and Cruise?! There is important news this week about Mixed Vaccines! The US CDC, the Centers for Disease Control, recently updated their guidance about acceptable vaccine protocols. Mixed vaccines are acceptable now sailing from US Ports for SOME vaccine mixtures, specifically the mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna can be mixed and are OK for cruisers on Royal Caribbean. In this video we outline the required timelines and show you Royal Caribbean's chart explaining the mixed vaccines that are OK to have if you want to cruise from a US port. There are other mixed vaccines that are acceptable if a passenger is sailing from non-US ports - and there, in some circumstances, the AstraZeneca vaccine can be mixed with a mRNA vaccine shot as the second dose. There are LIMITATIONS so the best advice is the CHECK REGULARLY WITH YOUR CRUISE LINE! These vaccine protocols are being updated and you want to be sure you're following the absolute LATEST and CORRECT guidance from your cruise line.
