Built in 2003 and launched in 2004, she is more than 800 feet in length, and carries more than 1,500 passengers, and 700 crew members. During the winter months, the MSC Lirica cruises the coastal waters of the United Arab Emirates, with an itinerary that includes Dubai, Oman, and Abu Dhabi. In the summer she cruises the Mediterranean, with week-long cruises that stop at ports in Italy, France, and Spain.
