MSC Seaside: Philipsburg, St. Maarten Arrival & Departure on November 28th, 2018

On November 24th, 2018 the first Seaside Class cruise ship, the MSC Seaside, set sail on a 7 night Eastern Caribbean sailing to commemorate her 1st birthday. She made a visit to Philipsburg St. Maarten on Wednesday November 28th, 2018. She had an early morning arrival into the port following the Marella Explorer. That led to a parade of ships as the sun continued to rise over the mountain with the P&O Oriana, Adventure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, and Seven Seas Navigator. With a busy port day the country received some well needed tourist dollars as they continue their strong recovery efforts following Hurricane Irma a year earlier. Even with 6 ships the port didn't feel too crowded though. Later in the day the MSC Seaside was the first to depart at 2:00 PM leaving the rest behind. Itinerary: Day 1: Miami, FL (11/24/18 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Day 2: Day at Sea (11/25/18) Day 3: San Juan, Puerto Rico (11/26/18 from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM) Day 4: Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas (11/27/18 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) Day 5: Philipsburg, St. Maarten (11/28/18 from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM) Day 6: Day at Sea (11/29/18) Day 7: Nassau, Bahamas (11/30/18 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM) Day 8: Miami, FL (12/1/18 from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
