We are continuing our walking tour of Nassau with a stop at John Watling’s Rum Distillery. First off, the grounds and the old home are beautiful! We are greeted with a sample of pina colado made with their amber rum and I must say that was the beat I had ever had! And speaking of the best... our tour guide was fantastic!! He told us the history the family and the distillery with such personality!!! It was such a neat experience to see a working rum factory where everything is made and served only in the Bahamas. The tour is free and afterwards we go to the shop where we can buy a bottle or to the tasing room. We opted for a tasting of all four of the house made rums.
