From the complimentary main dining rooms and eateries to the speciality restaurants with tastes from across the globe; you will be spoilt for choice. The 3 main dining rooms are called: The Manhattan room, Savor and Taste. Speciality dining leaves nothing to be desired on board the Breakaway, covering almost any type of food you can imagine, from French, Italian and American to Tappenyakki and Brazilian, you’re spoilt for choice. Although these all come with a service charge you’ll be getting fantastic value for money, not just for the food but for the service and the atmosphere as well. Bear in mind though that there are over 10 different types of Speciality restaurant There are as many as 15 different venues on board the breakaway to visit and treat yourself to a beverage in ranging from relaxing bars by the pool and cafés to cocktail bars and the intriguing Skyy Vodka Ice Bar! Now, entertainment is something that Norwegian Cruise Line is known for in the cruise industry and has something for everyone. Again, with the Brand Video we made we listed which shows are on which ships. But, these do chop and change all the time. These are correct at the time of filming though. Let’s start with one that we’ve mentioned already, burn the floor, an incredible 45 minute Broadway show extravaganza performed during your meal in the Manhattan Room, you may even be asked up to join them and show off some of your best moves. There’s also the Cirque Dreams and Dinner Jungle Fantasy, which has the smash-hit Broadway show after a tasty meal, showing off mother nature’s beautiful creations come to life via acrobatic feats and artistry, this does come with an extra fee but, it’s worth every penny. On board the breakaway you have a lot of options when it comes to staterooms, with 42 different types, really giving you the chance to cruise in the style you desire. Of course you have you normal luxurious classes of stateroom, on the Breakaway, Interior, oceanview and balcony. Each have a large amount of space per square feet and are: fitted out with a comfortable and sophisticated décor, its own en-suite, TV and a phone. Breakaway is one of Norwegian Cruise Lines Ships that has the award winning studios. These are the best cruise staterooms for solo travellers… in my opinion. They are an industry first that give solo cruisers an affordable, stylish way to cruise. These rooms aren’t the biggest but have everything you need if you are travelling solo or with friends other family members and want a little bit of your own space. It’s like your own studio apartment with the shower closed off within the room, your own toilet closed off, a double bed, TV, safe and hairdryer. On top of this As a Studio guest, you will have exclusive key card access to the Studio Complex and Lounge. This shared private area is where you can stretch out, have a drink, order room service, watch the big-screen TV and meet your neighbours.
