Norwegian Bliss Enters The Panama Canal

This is a time lapse video of the Norwegian Bliss cruise ship entering the Caribbean side of the Panama canal on May 14, 2018. This was the largest cruise ship to ever go through the Panama canal, up to this point. The video begins at dawn as the ship makes the westbound approach to the canal. You can see the new bridge under construction at Colón. Many ships are waiting just outside of the breakwater for their opportunity to transit the canal. The video ends when the ship gets in to the first set of locks. It was actually my intention to capture the entire transit through the canal, buy my GoPro crapped out on me at the point this video ends. I don't know why!
