We stopped at Ocho Rios cruise port on our MSC Divina cruise from Miami. We were excited about our first visit to Jamaica and decided to explore the Ocho Rios cruise port on our own. We spent some time walking around the town and then relaxing at the beach. The area where the ships dock at Ocho Rios cruise port is called Island Village and there's lots of things to do right there. There are great shops and restaurants but the main attraction is definitely Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. We had a blast and loved sipping cocktails on the beach in the Caribbean for the first time. While we enjoyed our port day, it's worth noting that many famous Ocho Rios cruise excursions go to Dunn's River Falls and James Bond Beach. We regretted not seeing both on this visit, so you may want to plan for that!
