Our route takes us to Vigo, Spain located on the north west side of Spain on the Atlantic. The city was a lot more than our research said it would be and we had a great time exploring with the short port day we had. The city is known for the escalators that take you up the hill on the Grand Via street and end near the castle. There were beautiful views of the city and surrounding areas. Of course we made a stop at Starbucks to purchase the mugs and found a sandwich shop with the Iberian Ham Sandwiches that are unique to this region. WE also had time for a coffee at a shop near the port located in the shopping mall and it was 1/4 the price of the Starbucks latte and MUCH better quality. We recommend a visit to Vigo.
