Creator's Key Takeaways
We've never been here before. So, we're really excited to get off and take a look around.
It was a fantastic sail away. As we left Gujon, we passed by that fort and peninsula that we had been stood on earlier in the day.
The service was fantastic. We had bread delivered, our wine order was taken and menus provided to us all within a few minutes of sitting down.
We really enjoyed his creative performance. The songs that he performed, some of them we had heard before cuz we've seen him on other ships, but still he was absolutely hilarious and very creative.

On day 6 of our Cunard Queen Anne Spain and Portugal cruise we docked in the port of Gijon, Spain. This was the first time we had visited this port, and we decided to explore independently. We took the free shuttle bus into the Gijon and were dropped off at the marina. We explored the Roman excavation and made our way up to Elogio del horizonte. Back onboard Queen Anne we had lunch in the Pavilion and tried some healthy snacks from the Wellness Cafe. We also took some time in the pool and hot tubs. In the evening, we dined in the Britannia Restaurant followed by a performance in the Queens Room from Jon Courtenay. The show cast also put on an incredible show in the Royal Court Theatre of Let’s Dance. We ended our night with a few unique cocktails in the Chart Room.
