COVID-19 made an impact on all of our lives. Many lives and jobs have unfortunately been lost due the impact of the virus. Due to travel restrictions and shelter in place orders, families are unable to be together, hospitals are not allowing visitors, and vacations are being canceled left and right. We had a vacation planned for early May to go to Walt Disney World and embark on a 7-night Disney cruise, that had to be canceled due to COVID-19. While we are sad this vacation will no longer be happening, we are grateful for our health and hope everyone is staying safe during these scary times. We would like to say we appreciate all Disney is doing for those whose vacations were affected by these cancellations. The following are the current plans Disney has for these families (note: this is subject to change at any time): Disney Cruise Line: If your cruise has been canceled by Disney, you are eligible for a 100% refund to the original form of payment OR a 125% rebooking on another cruise within 15 months of your original sail date (rebooking amount is only for the cruise fare and does not include taxes, port fees, and any miscellaneous fees as these are automatically refunded). Walt Disney World: If your resort stay has been canceled, you are eligible to rebook June-September with a special including the dining plan and tickets for the length of your stay (note: this is paying full price for the room and discounts such as the Sun & Fun offer or annual pass discounts cannot be applied in combination with this). Annual Passholders: Your annual pass will be extended the amount of time Walt Disney World remains closed (ex: if Disney world is closed for 3 months, you will get 3 months added to the expiration date of the annual pass). If paying on a monthly payment plan, the payments have currently been suspended. Hopefully you found this video helpful and bear with us as the channel will be a little different for the next couple of videos. We are hopeful Walt Disney World will open up soon, but more importantly everyone stays safe and healthy at home. See ya real soon!
