Day 4 of our cruise vacation aboard the Holland America Line Nieuw Amsterdam. Day 3 was a day at sea so we pick up our adventure on Day 4 as we arrive in the Dominican Republic. While we didn't do an organized excursion we did partake of all the cruise terminal had to offer. There was plenty of shopping, drinks, and food available. The highlight for us was the resort style pool. Plenty of lounge chairs and the whole pool to ourselves for the first couple hours. There were also water slides and a zip line.
