Day 5 was our final full day onboard our P&O Aurora Northern Europe New Year’s cruise. The morning started by being woken up by the exercise class taking place in Carmen’s that was directly below our cabin. We missed breakfast and dined in a very busy Horizon Restaurant. We took the opportunity to explore the decks but unfortunately due to the bad weather the top decks had been closed. In the afternoon we took time to pack and attempted a power nap, but this was disrupted. We dined in the Glass House, for the first time ever, and were underwhelmed by the experience. The comedian in the Curzon theatre surprised us and we spent our last evening onboard in our favourite venue, the Crow’s Nest. On Day 6 we left our cabin before 8 o’clock and made our way down to the Medina Restaurant for breakfast, we were very surprised when we arrived at Deck 6. During our disembarkation in Southampton, we were unable to leave due to security.
