On day 2 of our Celestyal Journey Heavenly Greece, Croatia and Italy Cruise we docked in the beautiful port of Argostoli in Kefalonia, Greece. We had an organised excursion, Discover the best of Kefalonia, with Celestyal Cruises. Our first destination was the Drogarati cave which is an impressive cave with remarkable formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Next, we took a boat ride in the Melissani caves and were amazed at the clear blue waters. We then visited the town of Agia Effimia a traditional fishing village with a small harbour. Finally, we stopped at the most photographed beach in all of Greece, Myrtos Beach. We made it back onboard Celestyal just in time for a special Easter Lunch and we were really impressed. As we sailed away, we enjoyed some drinks on the aft of the ship. It was formal night onboard and Celestyal has a much more relaxed vibe than other cruise lines. We enjoyed a Greek themed meal in the Smoked Olive Restaurant followed by the Captains Welcome In the main Theatre. Before the evening show, Cabaret, in the main theatre we headed to the Blue Bar for an incredible cocktail. We ended our evening in the Horizons Lounge and Disco.
