Pilot Boat boards the Freedom of the Seas in Nassau
YouTube Video Descriptionโ
It was a very windy day, so windy that our ship would be the only one out of seven that would successfully dock in Nassau. The ship positioned itself to block the wind as the pilot boat matched speed with the cruise ship outside the port so the local pilot could board the Freedom of the Seas, head up to the bridge and help our captain navigate to the dock. About Me: My love of cruising started at the age of 13 when I sailed on the SS Norway. Since then, I have been married on a cruise (Holland's Zuiderdam) and have sailed most of the major lines with plans to add more to my cruise history. Sometimes we cruise for the ports. Sometimes we cruise for the ship experience. And occassionally, we splurge and cruise for the room. Follow along here on my YouTube channel or through my blog or Instagram.
