Day 6 of our cruise adventure—straight from the stunning (and stormy!) Souda Bay in Crete! 🇬🇷⚓ Today we are docked in Souda Bay, Crete which also happened to be Will’s birthday! We kicked things off with an epic thunderstorm over the island—perfect excuse for a lazy, cozy morning watching lightning flashes from our cabin window. After a rainy stroll on the slick decks and a chaotic (but delicious) late buffet breakfast, we returned to the cabin for birthday presents and chill vibes. Our original plan was to explore Crete via local bus, but after seeing the crowds and unpredictable weather, we pivoted—classic cruise move! Instead our day was filled with: A decadent 3-course birthday lunch in the dining room. A chilled afternoon, because it’s a vacation. Fun dinner at The Beach House Mind Games at the theatre Lively horse racing event at the Malabar and of course, a late-night buffet run. Because why not? 💡 Fun Fact: Souda Bay is one of the deepest natural harbors in the Mediterranean—and it’s still an active naval base to this day!
