P&O Britannia - Spain, Madeira & Canaries 14 Day Cruise

We've just got back from a nice relaxing 2 week cruise aboard one of our favourite cruise ships, P&O Britannia. The cruise was to celebrate a family birthday and hopefully get some final sun of the year, and we got some great weather. The original itinerary was Madeira, La Palma, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Cadiz and La Coruna. Our ship and port guides can be found below 👇 👇 Sadly, a few hours after departing Southampton cruise port, we had to make a detour towards Torbay so a passenger could be airlifted from the ship, following a medical emergency 😢 The following day there was another medical issue, possibly due to us saling during storm amy and experiencing hurricane force winds. This meant we had to make a short dock in La Coruna to debark a passenger. These unexpected detours meant we were behind schedule and were arriving late Madeira, but now we would be docked overnight. It also sadly meant we would have to miss La Palma 😢 The rest of the cruise went to the remaining ports as scheduled. Thankfully, despite the rough start, the weather quickly improved with most days hitting the mid 20s This turned out to be a nice relaxing cruise, we're usually running around like idiots ticking landmarks and attractions of our bucket list. We had been to the more built up ports before, so it was actually a welcome change to be able to take it easy.
