P&O Oceana is one of the best-loved mid-sized family ships for P&O Cruises. Oceana has over 1,000 cabins and the maximum capacity of 2,272 passengers. The majority of these cabins give you ocean views too. On arrival to your cabin you will be offered mineral water and a pamper pack. All cabins have Egyptian cotton sheets, air conditioning, free tea & coffee making facilities, mini bar, hairdryer, safe, in-cabin television and good sized en-suite bathrooms with white company toiletries pack. On top of this, you will have a daily cabin steward service! You could upgrade to a Suite experience, giving you your personal haven to retreat, relax, indulge and entertain. A suite treats you to a whirlpool bath, daily canapes, butler service, inclusive room service and the always favourable, early embarkation, as well as much more. The lounge has a sofa plus table and chairs, a mini-stereo and TV as well as radio. They also have a floor to ceiling glass doors leading to your own balcony complete with steamers, chairs and a table. Children can go to ‘The Reef’, which is a kids club with a range of activities the kids can get up to. The Reef caters for all age groups. Some examples of these are the: ‘Treasure Chest’ which, is a play area and ‘Buzz Zone’ which, is an arcade room. Teenagers have their own spa withe the Oasis Teen Spa. Here they can get treatments, that have been created with the needs of young adults in mind. Their very own Reef Rangers have extensive experience in planning and facilitating activities for all age ranges, not forgetting the Night Nursery for the 4’s and under available from 6pm to 2am on school holiday cruises. For time spent in the sun there are no less than 3 swimming pools and whirlpools on-board – don’t worry about that sun, there is ample canopy shading around as well as loungers for relaxing with a book from the library. You can spend some time playing any of the various sports in the ships funnel and taking part in the complimentary fitness classes. There is a fantastic selection of shops available on board to browse through or you can indulge in some alfresco snacks and drinks in the outdoor bars. There is also plenty on offer for children of all ages as well, from the Reef club to the Oasis Teen spa. They’ve even got their own arcade room to master. The Footlights Theatre, is where you can enjoy a film by day and West End style musical by night. Starlights show lounge is a smaller venue where cabaret shows and other live performances can be seen.
