It's an exciting day here for us at the Polynesian Culture Center.
First of all, because you're here. Second, because each and every one of you is about to embark on your own personal adventure through the islands of Polynesia.
They are the first village on this side of the lagoon.
And it begins with hookie, a canoe celebration.

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
In June we sailed on NCL's Pride of America around the Hawaiian Islands. Prior to boarding the ship, we did the cruisetour. The first day of touring we visited the Dole Plantation and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Check out my blog post about the Cruisetour: https://www.themeparkvistas.com/blog/was-the-cruisetour-worth-it We only had 45 minutes at the Dole Plantation, which was enough time to purchase a Dole Whip and do some shopping. We arrived at the Polynesian Cultural Center and had time to purchase lunch before the opening show. There are six islands to visit, and each one has cultural presentations through the afternoon and various activities you can participate in. There definitely wasn't enough time here, but I think you would really need more than one day if you wanted to do everything you could. We managed to do something in each island and did a canoe ride back to the front of the Center. Outside the center are a bunch of food trucks and shop as you walk back to the parking lot. I tried to film highlights of both places we toured. On the way to and from these destinations our bus driver/tour guide gave us lots of information about the islands and Oahu.
