She was originally built in 1973 as the Royal Viking Sky of the now defunct Royal Viking Line and was one of a trio of ship's for the line until 1991. She also sailed as the Sunward for NCL from 1991-1992, then as the Birka Queen in 1992. After Princess, she sailed as the SuperStar Capricorn from 1997-2004 and as the Grand Latino from 2004-2005 and lastly as the Boudicca of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines from 2005-2020. She was scrapped in July of 2021.
