Explorer of the Seas Excursion | Puerto Limon Costa Rica Authentic Caribbean Experience Come along with us on for the "Authentic Caribbean Experience" shore excursion in Puerto Limón, Costa Rica, during our 11-night Royal Caribbea Explorer of the Seas cruise! 🌴✨ This guided bus tour gave us the chance to see the local culture and scenery while our tour guide shared history and insights along the way. Our first stop was a small town by the beach, where we enjoyed some free time to explore and even picked up some local Costa Rican coffee beans ☕. The excursion also included a few other scenic stops before heading to the highlight of the day — the rainforest. Here we walked a nature trail that ran alongside the beach, surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife. We were lucky enough to spot sloths hanging in the trees and monkeys along the way 🐒🦥. Overall, this tour was a great way to see many sides of Costa Rica in a single day, though keep in mind that it involves quite a bit of bus time since the itinerary covers multiple locations. Perfect if you want to experience a variety of sights — but if you’re looking for more time deep in the rainforest, there are other tours available that focus on that specifically.
