Welcome to our Puerto Plata Cruise Port Vlog! πŸ‡©πŸ‡΄ In this video we're exploring Mount Isabel de Torres, the historic Old Town and more in the beautiful Dominican Republic. If you're planning a cruise stop in Puerto Plata, this vlog is your perfect guide! We visited Puerto Plata cruise port in the Dominican Republic on our MSC Seaview cruise in the Caribbean. Puerto Plata is on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic and is the busiest cruise port in the country. Some cruise ships, mostly Carnival ships, dock at nearby Amber Cove. We booked a cruise excursion to Isabel de Torres Mountain and the Isabel de Torres National Park. We drove to the top of Isabel de Torres mountain for stunning views over Puerto Plata and explored the rich biodiversity of the Dominican Republic rainforest. It's important to note the TelefΓ©rico cable car was closed during our visit. The area where ships dock at Puerto Plata cruise port is near the centre of the city. We walked around the city, learned about the history of Puerto Plata and the Dominican Republic and saw some local tourist sights like Independence Park and Catedral de San Felipe ApΓ³stol. We even stopped in a coffee shop to taste some delicious Dominican coffee! We really enjoyed our day in Puerto Plata cruise port and our Isabel de Torres Mountain cruise excursion. We had a really great day in the Dominican Republic! 🚒 Watch our full MSC Seaview Caribbean Cruise here πŸ‘‰ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9kGfDz3zkY 00:00 Welcome to Puerto Plata 00:20 Mount Isabel de Torres & National Park 01:38 El Rincon Del CafΓ© 01:59 Paseo de DoΓ±a Blanca 02:06 Island Treasures Gift Shop 02:33 Independence Park & Catedral de San Felipe 02:56 TaΓno Bay Cruise Port #puertoplata #dominicanrepublic #cruiseport #mscseaview #cruise _________________________ We're Kolyn & Denis and we're The Curious Tourists! 🌍 We're showing you how to see the world without quitting your job.
