Quantum of the Seas: Inaugural Barbados Arrival & Departure (with Thomson Celebration) on December 7
YouTube Video Descriptionβ
The Quantum of the Seas made her inaugural call to Bridgetown Barbados on December 7, 2014. She arrived at 7AM to begin a very slow and tedious docking process in order to be along side the pier by 8AM. The Quantum is the largest ship to ever attempt to dock in Barbados and doing so required a very tight rotation of the ship within the small harbor with only feet to spare. Across the harbor from her in port was the Thomson Celebration on her turn around day. The Quantum then departed at 5PM with much more ease as she simply sailed forward and swung the stern around rather than having to actually rotate like she did upon arrival. 11 Night Southern Caribbean Sailing on 12/1/14 Day 1: Bayonne, NJ Day 2: At Sea Day 3: At Sea Day 4: San Juan, Puerto Rico Day 5: Philipsburg, St. Maarten Day 6: Fort De France, Martinique Day 7: Bridgetown, Barbados Day 8: Basseterre, St. Kitts Day 9: At Sea Day 10: At Sea Day 11: At Sea Day 12: Bayonne, NJ
