"Queen Elizabeth" & "Queen Mary 2" departing from Southampton - 16/09/2016

CUNARD's "Queen Elizabeth" & "Queen Mary 2" are seen departing from Southampton on Friday 16th September 2016. "Queen Elizabeth" was the first to depart just before 17:00 from the 'Mayflower' Terminal on a 14-night cruise to the Canary Islands. As she departed she sailed past the Southampton Boat Show and TUI Cruises' new "Mein Schiff 5" before exchanging horn-blasts with "Queen Mary 2". "Queen Mary 2" departed at just after 17:30 from the 'Ocean' Terminal heading off on a 4-night cruise to Zeebrugge and Guernsey. "Mein Schiff 5" was originally due to depart from the 'City' Terminal at 20:00 but was delayed for some reason and didn't depart until 22:15. Viewed from the Town Quay.
