"Queen Victoria" & "Queen Elizabeth" departing Southampton on their World Cruises - 07/01/2018

CUNARD's "Queen Victoria" & "Queen Elizabeth" set off on their World Cruises from Southampton on Sunday 7th January 2018. "Queen Elizabeth" was the first to depart at 17:34 from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal. She went to turn in the Upper Swinging Ground before heading back down towards the Town Quay. "Queen Victoria" then departed at 17:54 from the Ocean Cruise Terminal and sailed out before coming to a stop in the channel off the Dock-Head to wait for "Queen Elizabeth" to come in behind her. Both ships then received a spectacular fireworks display before they began their long voyages. "Queen Victoria" is on a 75-night cruise around South America returning in late March and the Caribbean whilst "Queen Elizabeth" is on a 122-night cruise to Sydney and back via the USA, Asia and South Africa before returning in May.
