Creator's Key Takeaways
We are doing a glass bottom boat tour with my brother and my sister-in-law.
So, no glass bottom boat. That is getting replaced with a marine museum and some sort of chocolate factory.
It's good on a hot day.
We really did have a blast at the Speak Easy.

Welcome to our Roatan, Honduras port day… and yes, it started off rainy. 🌧️ We were supposed to do a glass bottom boat tour, but rough seas shut it down, so we had to pivot fast. If you’ve ever booked an excursion for one main thing and then had it change last minute, you’ll understand this one. Instead of the glass bottom boat, we ended up with a modified day that included the Roatan Museum and marine life research area, a chocolate factory with samples (and a frozen banana dipped in chocolate), and of course a rum cake stop. We also took time to walk around the newer port area and check out what’s changed since the last time we were here, including shops, restrooms, hammocks, food spots, and some of the new features right off the ship. And then back onboard, the day keeps going. We hit the thermal suite again, had a really solid dinner (including rum cake and coconut ice cream), and then we did something we’ve never done before… we went through a secret phone booth to get into a hidden speakeasy. Yep. A real onboard “secret gathering” with live music, specialty drinks, and a full vibe. If you’re cruising to Roatan or you’re curious what a port day looks like when plans change, this video should help you know what to expect and how to make the most of it. #Roatan #Honduras #CruiseVlog #RoatanExcursions #MSCcruise #CruisePortDay #CaribbeanCruise #Speakeasy #PKAdventureTravels CHAPTER LIST 0:00 – Rainy Morning in Roatan 0:40 – Today’s Plan: Glass Bottom Boat Tour 2:55 – Excursion Canceled Due to Rough Seas 3:16 – New Itinerary: Museum + Chocolate + Rum Cake 4:23 – Heading to the Roatan Museum 5:26 – Meeting a Subscriber in Port 5:56 – Inside the Museum and Marine Life Displays 9:34 – Quick Tip: Best Bathroom Stop 10:09 – Off to the Chocolate Factory 10:50 – Learning About Cocoa and Samples 12:14 – Chocolate Treats and Frozen Banana 12:43 – Handmade Local Shop (Support Locals) 13:10 – Rum Cake Stop and Tastings 15:32 – Gravel Bay Stone Castles Shell Art 17:58 – Back in Port Shopping and Souvenirs 19:13 – Exploring the New Roatan Port Area 21:35 – Blue Parrot Bar and Photo Spot 22:19 – Ocean Drive Shop Quick Look 23:44 – Walking Back Toward the Ship 24:28 – Market Street and More Shops 26:16 – Wrapping Up Roatan Port Day 27:18 – Back Onboard: Thermal Suite Time 27:54 – Tropical Night Dinner in Main Dining 28:54 – Dessert Recap 30:25 – Secret Phone Booth Entrance 31:23 – Inside the Speakeasy 32:51 – Drinks and Live Music 35:48 – Speakeasy Recap and Final Thoughts Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDl4ikwf8o1RdtjuM5gCRFA/join Let us book your next vacation!!!
