Each cruise line has their own unique features and experiences. We did not know what to expect with the Bolt Carnival Cruise line. This was the first Roller Coaster at sea. You are riding around 180 feet above the sea on a cruise ship. We are going to tell you everything you need to know about it so you can decide if it is worth your time and money. Carnival Cruise is all about the fun and they have taken that to the next level with the fastest and first roller coaster on a cruise ship. The Bolt Ultimate Sea Coaster can reach speeds of 40 miles per hour. There are twists and turns on the open air 800 foot long track. The Bolt Carnival Mardi Gras ride vehicle is motorcycle style that fits two people. You are strapped in while you zip around the electric track. There are some requirements for the Bolt Carnival Cruise line you should be aware of. You need to be 4-foot-4 inches, and no taller than 6-foot-5 and weigh can’t more than 300 pounds. You need to empty your pockets before you ride and there are Cubbies to put your stuff in. There is a cost, while we sailed it was $15 USD each to ride. You also are not allowed dresses, you can wear shorts, leggings, or long pants and you need closed toed shoes.
