Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas – Exploring St. Thomas & Emerald Beach (Day 5)

Join us for Day 5 of our 8-night Caribbean Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas as we explore the beautiful island of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands! We begin our day with a surprise encounter—an iguana startles us right in the port area as we head out for our adventure! We quickly hop into an open-air taxi and ride into downtown Charlotte Amalie. Along the way, we pass the historic Legislature building and soon find ourselves caught in a heavy rainstorm. We take refuge in the entrance of Fort Christian, the oldest standing structure in the U.S. Virgin Islands, waiting for the skies to clear. Once the rain clears, we explore the charming shopping streets of Charlotte Amalie, including the famous Dronningens Gade. We then return to Adventure of the Seas for a quick bite before heading back out to spend the afternoon at the stunning Emerald Beach. Here, we enjoy the soft sand, warm turquoise water, and tropical vibes. Back onboard, we take in a gorgeous sail away—complete with a horn battle between cruise ships! The evening wraps up with a delicious dinner in the Sapphire Main Dining Room and an entertaining show in the Lyric Theater.
