Ship Tour Overall fabulous ship!!! Explorer of the Seas sailed its Inauguration Cruise October 2000. The Ship’s Godmother is Jackie Joyner-Kersee. Promenade deck bright and colorful. Full of restaurants and several shopping vendors . All items purchased on a cruise ship is tax free. Big Lido deck , just the right size to enjoy a dip in the pool.
