Scarlet Lady: Santa Cruz de Tenerife on December 5th, 2024 (with Mein Schiff 5, Arcadia, & More!)

On November 28th Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Lady set sail on a 16 night From Rome to Miami Transatlantic Voyage crossing both the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. Sailing from Civitavecchia (Rome) she made stops in various ports along the way. This was her first sailing after returning from Virgin Voyages first ever dry dock and completed her inaugural Mediterranean season as she sailed home to Florida. The final stop for Scarlet Lady on her transatlantic was to Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Located off the coast of Aftrica this was her final chance to pick up supplies as she prepared for her 8 days at sea to cross the Atlantic Ocean. She was the final ship to arrive in the morning with the Ambition, Mein Schiff 5, Arcadia, and MV La Belle des Océans all already in port. She backed into the harbor docking at the very first berth, closest to the entrance of the harbor but also the farthest distance from the main land. Both the Arcadia and Ambition departed in the evening having to sail past Scarlet Lady on the way out. She then made her own departure under the cover of darkness to leave Europe and Africa behind.
