Creator's Key Takeaways

We've actually positioned ourselves um for the game by where the chase chess boards are

We did the wheel of fortune the other night and we won a £10 bingo ticket

The lasagna garlic bread, little bit of salad. And these are lamb and feta sausages. And they are the best thing on the ship

We had a little downpour while we were having our tea. So, everything was a little bit wet

Creator's Tips & Advice

Stay in cabins on the first eight levels for privacy
Try the lamb and feta sausages in the buffet
Check beach conditions before going, as waves can be rough

YouTube Video Description

Are sea days boring… or are they actually what cruising is all about? In this cruise diary vlog onboard P&O Arvia, we start with a slow and relaxing day at sea, complete with buffet breakfast, our first ever game of cruise ship bingo, lunch in the Main Dining Room, coffee in Vistas and a sunset hot tub session at the Sunset Bar on Deck 8. The day even included the only rain of our entire Caribbean cruise, sending everyone running for cover! Next, we arrive in St Maarten, a port we’ve visited many times, but this time we fancied a change and planned a trip to Friars Bay Beach on the French side. After agreeing a return taxi price at the cruise terminal, things quickly took a turn — our driver refused to take us where we’d agreed and instead redirected us, increasing the price along the way. After multiple beach changes and a frustrating start to the day, we finally settled at Divi Little Bay, just minutes from the cruise terminal. Thankfully, it turned out to be a great choice — affordable sunbeds, soft sand, warm water and a relaxed atmosphere close to the ship. We finish the day back onboard with a late lunch at The Quays, a cabin nap, dinner in the Horizon Buffet, evening drinks at the Sunset Bar, and a reminder that cruising the Caribbean is hard work. #PAndOArvia #CruiseDiary #CaribbeanCruise #StMaarten #SeaDay #CruiseVlog #CruiseLife #PortDay #CruiseTips #Arvia
