About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
Join us as we embark on the @RoyalCaribbean Icon of the Seas out of the Port of Miami for a 7-night Eastern Caribbean Cruise. This was for Spring Break 2024 and we left on March 23, 2024. Now it's important to note, while I do have this YouTube Channel and I do vlog our vacations, these are very much our family vacations, first and foremost. I vlog to capture our own family memories, but also to give a realistic expectation of what a vacation like this with kid(s) can be like. In this vlog, I show us arriving to the Port of Miami and entering the Icon of the Seas for the very first time. You enter onto the Royal Promenade right in front of the Pearl. We visited our stateroom for the first time which was a Surfside Balcony Stateroom (9729). From there, we went to the Main Dining Room to make our Specialty Dining Reservations for our 3-night dining package, as you cannot make those reservations before boarding the ship. After that we headed to the Windjammer for the Iconic Welcome Lunch which included Lobster Tails. This is something exclusive to Icon of the Seas. We then register our son in Adventure Ocean and show a quick tour of the entire area. After that we headed to Absolute Zero (ice rink) to check into our Muster Station which was G1. After that, we visited the Surfside area and then took a tour of the Vitality at Sea Spa and the Fitness Center. We went back for the Spa Raffle at 5:00pm, but unfortunately were not lucky this time around. Since it was raining, we went to the Aquadome and to The Outlook to watch Sail-a-way from indoors and I had my first Passion Spritz of the cruise.
