The Marella cruise line was established way back in 1973 but soon exited the crowded cruise market for nearly 2 decades before returning in 1995. Originally known as Thomson Cruises, the line changed name to Marella Cruises in 2017 when Thomson was taken over by Tui. Nowadays, the line run several ships from home ports such as Dubrovnik, Corfu Town and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
