This train ride was a breeze – the Brightline offers a very nice, cool, and comfortable experience with plush leather seats, plenty of legroom, and a smooth ride. Perfect way to start my cruise vacation! Once in Miami, I boarded the MSC Magnifica for my solo cruise adventure. Despite mixed feelings due to my previous experiences with MSC – a fantastic first cruise on the Armonia and a less-than-stellar time on the Merviglia – I'm optimistic about this trip. The Merviglia did have one highlight: stopping at the incredible MSC Private Island, Ocean Cay. It's the best private island I've ever visited! My first day on the Magnifica was amazing! Traveling solo gave me the chance to meet some fantastic people at the two solo meetups. The cruise ship is beautiful, and I'm excited to explore more.
